[Time-Management] 100 Thoughts for Self Improvement!

`We must always think about thinks, and we must think about things as they are, not as they are said to be'

George Bernard Shaw

The time now is around 4.30 am and I am listening to Wayne Dyer, the most popular and powerful motivational speaker who had always impressed me. He gave a quotation: `when you change the way you look at something, the thing you look at changes!'. I think that they are not merely play of words, but contain a profound truth within them.

Sometimes we act on opinions without going into facts and form impressions about people and things. We try to justify our opinions without questioning if our opinions are correct. We rationalize what we already believe and refuse to listen to any other contrary view point. The most relevant example was the old belief that the world was flat and everyone looked at the world as a flat world until Galileo looked at the same world as round the `world changed'! Actually we know that the world had always remained round, but only we looked at it as a flat world!

Do an exercise: jot down the name of a person whom you don't like; list all the good things you've noticed in him or what others noticed. Now look at the same person from this perspective and notice if the person changes in your perception!
