Are you a person who is very frank and transparent? This is an attractive and positive personality trait. I am sure you have come across people who impressed you with this trait. A frank person is an asset to his friends.
There are occasions when we have to express our views. Sometimes we may have to pass on negative criticism and feedback which people may not like. However, we have to do it. A frank person will not hide his feelings. A frank person will not hold back what he wants to say. He will be sincere in his criticism and knows how to deliver the same. Not being frank is associated with other negative traits such as cunningness, jealousy etc.
It is one thing to be frank and another thing to know how to deliver the same to the people concerned. This is even more relevant when it comes to giving negative criticisms.
Can you recall the last occasion when you had to give a negative feedback and check how you handled this important and sensitive portfolio. You could also have a role model who you think is good at this and try to model that person.
