When we say that a person is carful, we mean that he acts or works thoughtfully, cautiously and vigilantly. A careful person will be cautious and guarded. They will avoid unnecessary mistake. Like anyone, they will also run into problems and crisis. But the difference is how they handle the same. One distinguishing feature among careful people is even when they are indulging in some activity in which they are proficient, they will be very careful.
I remember a staff who worked in the Personnel Department of a huge organization. When you ask for any information, he will not give it just like that. He will take some time, verify the facts and then only give it! You can trust him for 100 % accuracy.
Being careful does not mean that you should be pessimistic and afraid that you will commit a mistake. It only means that you want to ensure that there is no mistake committed due to your carelessness.
A careful person will evaluate and anticipate the possibility of errors and be alert. They will estimate the time required to complete and activity, plan well and avoid last minute rush. They will be well organized and hence will not end up in a crisis.
