`You must have long range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short range failures'
Charles Noble
We need to keep our focus on long-term goals irrespective of what is happening right now. We may come across failures at this point of time. I have written several times that there is no such thing as `failure' and everything is merely a feedback. If the feedback is positive and something that we like, we call it as `success. If the feedback is something we did not expect, we call it as `failure'. Life is something like a cricket match. You may score a run in a ball or hit the ball to the fence for a boundary or a six. Ultimately, what matters is the total runs that you score.
`I've failed over and over again, and that's why I succeed'! Do you know whose words are these? Michael Jordan, the basketball legend! History is full of people who have temporarily failed, but ultimately succeeded. I was impressed by a fantastic quote that ran something like this: `I admire tides, not because they rise and fall, but because they rise every time they fall!'
