[Time-Management] Arise, awake and take charge!

"Champions are propelled by desire, not compelled by fear."

Denis Waitley

In my time management seminar I say that you cannot change anyone, you cannot motivate anyone, you cannot encourage anyone, you cannot correct anyone, you cannot discipline anyone, and you cannot do anything to anyone! Isn't true? Any compulsion and threat can only bring about a temporary change in a person's behaviour. The same thing applies to rewarding a person to for a positive behaviour. It will not modify a person's behaviour permanently.

Next time you watch a cricketer or tennis player in action, notice the pain and suffering they undergo. That suffering is only merely physical and not mental. While they are physically undergoing pain and suffering, they enjoy the same mentally. They are driven by the passion and love for the game. Consider the tension they undergo batting and bowling in front of thousands of people directly watching them in person and billions of people watching them through the media. Just think what makes them to undergo this tension! This is how we should recognize the two subsystems coexisting in us-the mind and the brain.

If you want to produce an extraordinary result in your chosen field and thereby become a `champion', all that you have to do is to `coax' your mind and `market' the result to your mind and make your mind to desire the same. If you could do this, believe me, no power on earth will stand between you and your project!
