Many of us are confused about the functions of the brain and the mind. Where is the thinking taking place? Is it in the brain or in the mind? If you ask any physician he will tell you that the brain is just an organ, like our nose, ear, lever, etc. Some organs are internal and some are external. If the brain can think, the lever also can think?
Where is the mind? Is it in our head, our heart? No part of the body can leave the body. But the mind can leave our body for some time?
There is also confusion between the mind and the heart. We say, `keep me in your heart'. You know what will happen if a minute particle enters the heart! What will happen if a fifty kilogram person enters the heart! What we really mean is, `keep me in your mind!'.
We have to be clear about the parts of the mind, as we are clear about the parts of the heart, the brain, the ear etc.
What are the parts of the mind? Keep thinking
