[Time-Management] And here's the balance for the year!

19th December 2012

“Sir, What is the secret of your success?” a reporter asked a bank president.
“Two words.”
“And, sir, what are they?”
“Good decisions.”
“And how do you make good decisions?”
“One word.”
“And sir, what is that?”
“Experience.”
“And how do you get Experience?”
“Two words.”
“And, sir, what are they?”
“Bad decisions.”

If you ask me what makes a mature personality, I will say that it is the quality of decisions you take and the willingness to learn from experience. In job interviews people will look for what type of experience you have undergone. If you operate from your comfort zone you can avoid situations which will tax your skill. You can take the line of least resistance and avoid tough decisions. But you will not learn anything new. If you don’t learn anything new, you will have nothing to add to your bio data.

From this day take at least one decision which may be tough and perhaps will force you into situations causing you stress and tension. But go through this experience and learn. Perhaps you can maintain a journal and read the same after one year. You will be surprised about your own growth!
