Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy

Don't Try to Change What You Can't   – Change Your Approach!

There are things which you cannot change how much ever you are keen to change. But you have to be safe. What will you do? Simple: insulate yourself! Use your intellect and creativity. Use your common sense. Use your ingenuity. Use your thinking capacity.

The society is becoming corrupt. You don't merely keep away, but also ensure that your life is not affected by corruption. The environment is becoming polluted. You protect yourself. The traffic on the road becomes unruly. You drive carefully.

We already know this simple tactics. We are already protecting ourselves without changing what cannot be changed.

When the road becomes too hot, we don't cool the road, but we wear a chapel. When the weather becomes too cold, we don't warm up the air. We wear a woollen suit. When it rains and we cannot walk on the road, we don't attempt to stop the rain. We carry an umbrella. When there is recession, we don't try to change the economic indicators. You change your employability factor.

The human beings have survived many challenges and thanks to its adaptation ability, we have survived. Darwin is right when he said that it is not the largest of the species that survives, but the one which is most adaptable to change.

Believe in yourself. Believe in your innate capacity to manage change and not in your ability to stop changes. List your weaknesses and threats and chalk out a strategy to face the same. Don't worry about your weaknesses and be afraid of the threats facing you. Feel proud that you are a human beings and that you can insulate yourself from the adverse effects of the external threats!
