Can you mix with people and keep conversing with them? Or, are you a reserved person? Being a good conversationist is an attractive personality trait.
You would have come across people who converse well with people. You can recognize their presence in any group of people, small or big. You will enjoy their company. They carry people with them.
It is very easy to develop this trait.
First, you should love and enjoy being with people. You cannot talk to people whom you don’t like, isn’t?
Second, talk on subjects which they will like and not on those which you like! You may like music, but that does not mean others will understand and appreciate your big lectures on music!
Third, don’t brag about yourself in the company of others. You may irritate them.
Fourth, you have to know what is going on around in the society. It may be even mere gossip, but still you should talk about it if others will like it!
Fifth, adjust your wavelength to suit those around you. You cannot be talking serious issues at a language and level much higher than those around you.
Sixth, never dominate and occupy all the time with your conversation only. You should be a good listener also.
