[Time-Management] And here's the balance for the year!

21st January 2013

We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.

Jim Rohn

Are you a disciplined person? Discipline means to accept an order and conforming to the same. The word discipline is derived from the word disciple which means a follower. A disciple is a person who follows an accepted order.

There are various manifestations of discipline such as: physical discipline, money discipline, dress discipline, etc. Discipline will boost up your image.

Check the following aspects of your personality:

Do you speed up your car where you are not supposed to?

Do you park your vehicle at a no-parking area?

Do you arrive late to office and leave early without information?

Do you misuse facilities such as telephone, stationary etc which belongs to others?

How disciplined are you with reference to eating and drinking?

There is uniqueness in the word discipline. If you allot a number to each alphabet you will get 100. For example the letter d is the fourth letter in the alphabet, i is the ninth letter etc. The only other word which also has this uniqueness is attitude. The word hard work will get only 98 points. This means that even hard work will give you only 98% success in life, but your attitude to discipline will give you 100%!
