[Time-Management] 100 Thoughts for Self Improvement!

14th November 2012

`Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.'
Abraham Lincoln

I was thinking about the role of luck in the success story of great people. No doubt luck plays some role in our life. But it is not everything. Three things are even more important than luck to succeed in life: desire, trust and action.

In the first place we should have a desire to succeed and achieve something in our life. Thomas Alva Edison desired to make the first electric bulb; Walt Disney desired to make an amazing entertainment park; Steven Spielberg desired to produce `The Jaws'; JK Rowling desired to become a fulltime writer; Steve Jobs desired to use technology to revolutionize the computer industry.

The next important thing is you should trust your ability to succeed. Trust is like the foundation without which you cannot construct any building. All those who succeeded had this trait in common.

The third most important thing is action. They took action in the direction of their goal. You may have a desire, you may have the trust in your abilities, but if you do nothing on a daily basis, you will only be living in a dream land!

Over this weekend, rate yourself where you stand on these three important parameters!
