`He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery.'
It is said that experience is a good teacher. Each time you go through an experience, you learn something. The reverse is also true if you want to learn something new, try something new!
Have you ever tried to use an electronic gadget or upgrade your existing gadget? When you start using a smart phone from an ordinary mobile phone, you don't feel comfortable in the beginning. You have to explore the same and try to figure out how the gadget works.
By switching cell phones, computers, iPhones, iPads etc, you pick up the following life's skills:
- Curiosity: using the new gadget is a challenge and you are driven by your curiosity.
- Perseverance: in your desire to use the new technology, you practice perseverance which is an important trait to develop.
- Eye for details: you have to study the manual, technical tips, ask people and understand every detail regarding the new gadget. Else, you cannot use the same.
- Flexibility: being open to a new way of life and trying out new things is a very important quality. This will help us to adapt ourselves to the changes that are taking place around us.
Now tell me isn't it a good idea to try out new gadgets?
