Nothing fails like success!

Anonymous

You have heard `nothing succeeds like success'. But read the above quotation. It says that nothing fails like success! Isn't true that maintaining our success is equally important than succeeding. Our ability to remain humble after succeeding is very important.

The person who fails has a reason to work hard. But the person who succeeds has reasons to relax. The person who fails has reasons to be careful. But the person who succeeds has reasons to take things for granted. If you notice who have succeeded doing great things consistently, you will see an element of humility in them. More than their strategy for success, this quality keeps them in their balance of mind.

When we succeed, we will have the temptations to become complacent and take things for granted. We may to become over confident and underestimate the competition. During the recent recession, it is not the huge organizations which survived, but those organizations which carefully nurtured their customer base.

Over this weekend, do an `emotional X Ray' of your mind to scan for the `complacency virus' and do something about the same!
